CNN HEROES - Wendy Ross
The CNN Heroes series profiled Dr. Wendy Ross, founder of Autism Inclusion Resources. Her nonprofit helps hundreds of families navigate social situations that can be challenging for children with autism, including high-stimulus environments like sporting events, museum visits, and airport travel. This shoot followed several families to a special game at Citizens Bank Baseball Park in Philadelphia—an exciting outing that would traditionally be off-limits. It required extra sensitivity to the experience of children and families navigating a new environment.
